The Homestead Wash DC-Fairfax is conveniently located approximately 10 miles from Washington DC and 12 miles from Dulles International Airport. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Housekeeping service is provided on a twice-weekly basis for guests staying seven nights or more. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. A Daily Refresh housekeeping service is provided for nightly guests (1-6 nights) and weekly full housekeeping service is provided for extended stay guests (7+ nights). The daily refresh service includes replacing soiled towels emptying trash replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed and making bed with existing linens. The weekly full housekeeping service includes dusting vacuuming changing linens and towels emptying trash cleaning bathroom and kitchen (dishes are not washed) and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed. One pet per room is allowed. A cleaning fee will be charged per night. This charge will be applied at check-in. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators microwaves stovetops and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports one dollar per stay for unlimited local calls personalized voicemail and irons and full-size ironing boards.
